Sarah Covington-Kolb has been the Centering Coordinator at the OB-GYN Center since March 2010. Her background is in international education and humanitarian aid, and she has lived and worked in Latin America, Europe, and Africa before settling in South Carolina because of her spouse. Her favorite hobbies are dancing, camping, reading stories with her awesome little daughter, and eating too much dessert.
Amy Picklesimer is the Medical Director of the OB-GYN Center. She is an OB-GYN physician with a specialty in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She started CenteringPregnancy at the clinic in 2008, and has spearheaded our research and statewide outreach projects since then. Originally from Ohio, she has two school-aged daughters and can be seen bicycling around the region in an effort to make it to the Tour de France someday.
Vicki Eason is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who has been working and facilitating Centering groups at the OB-GYN Center since 2009. She is originally from Anderson and has one son. She gives her groups the space and freedom to build relationships and get exactly what they need from the groups. She likes to make stained glass, care for her cats, and travel.
Lynn Quillan is originally from upstate New York, and loves South Carolina winters. She has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years and has facilitated well over 30 Centering groups here at the OB-GYN Center. She is known for her wacky sense of humor and groups that bond together really well. When not working, she enjoys gardening, traveling, reading for her book club, and visiting her family in Tampa, Florida. Her greatest accomplishment has been raising her two sons who are both now grown.
Deb Clyburn facilitates our Spanish-language Centering groups. She has been a Nurse Practitioner working with pregnant women for over 30 years. Her groups reflect the culture of her patients’ countries of origin, with a strong focus on interpersonal relationships and adjusting to the healthcare system here in the US. Deb is an enthusiastic Clemson football fan, and she is married and has three children, six grandchildren, four horses, and a dog.
Deborah Boling came to the OB-GYN Center in 2012 and has fit here perfectly since. Her groups are a lot of fun, with Debbie’s quiet sense of humor and ability to relate with and help her patients. Originally from Chicago (where she once played the organ at Chicago Cubs games!), she has lived in Florida and Tennessee most recently. She raised six children and has now been rewarded with beautiful grandchildren who she spends a lot of time with when she’s not riding her bicycle or traveling.
